Happy Thanksgiving from us to you

We've been busy getting ready for our Thanksgiving Feast! Jeremy has invited some of his coworkers and spouses. We will host 10 guest. I believe I have found all of my ingredients needed however it was a challenge. Jeremy is going to fry a turkey and I'm going to try to duplicate my Grandmother's dressing! We have so much to be Thankful for: our Family, Friends, good health, traditions..... for the US Military who maintain this awesome possibility but more so our Savior Jesus Christ who lives and reigns!! Happy Thanksgiving and May God Continue to Bless You!

Not a Good Day

What a Day! This evening while we were going to drop off Yoshi I of course put the Tahoe in reverse to pull out of the garage and didn't realize that her door was still open.......and needless to say the door hit the side of our garage. Now the door does not shut properly. Looks like I will be spending my day at the dealership tomorrow:( I always thought you get in the vehicle and close the door. It's not that difficult. I'm just blowing steam and will get over it. Sorry! Or I always thought that the driver (me) should always look to see if everyone is in and tightly fastened. I can't say that pictures will follow because I'm so mad to even take them.

Trick or Treat give me something good to eat....

For Halloween we went to the Litchfields. Their compound goes all out for Halloween. There was pizza for the kids, games, treats and more treats. Devin wore Cody's Blue Clues costume. Cody dressed as a professional soccer(futbol) player. It's hard to get pictures of Cody now that he is ten years old :(  The boys and I made the luminares for Halloween. It was fun!

First "International" Football (Soccer) Competition

We had the privelage of competing in out first international soccer tournament this past weekend.  Teams from Bahrain, Saudi, Qatar, and Kuwait all participated.  My U10 boys represented well.  They made it to semi-finals, tied 0-0 and lost in penalty kicks 3-2 to miss advancing to Championship match.  They rebounded in 3rd place match shortly after by winning 4-2.  Cody did great all day scoring 3 goals and 3 assists.  This was truely a unique experience even with all the Coaching I have been priviliged to be a part of.  Once again, I am blessed with another good great group of kids.  We will keep this group together through next summer.  All British, Bahraini, and 1 Texan (Codeman)

Devin at Kid's Kingdom enjoying the rides. Haircut #2

Devin really enjoys going to Kid's Kingdom where they have more kid's rides than you can imagine. All for a price of course.  Not sure why Dad ends up on the rides with him??

Hair cut number 2 for Devin.  This time he wanted Dad  to sit there with him.  He does Okay but is still not crazy about the haircut time yet.  He will get used to it we guess.

Random Pictures of Devin

Here are some random pictures of Devin. The top few pictures were taken  at a Toy store in City Centre Mall. The first one is my favorite. It reminds me of my Dad. Every year he would dress up as a gorilla for Halloween. We all looked forward to Halloween because we had so much fun! What great memories. Wow, I miss him so very much! Please if any of you would like for us to buy your kiddos any of these stuff animals ($1500 - $3500 US) just let us know. LOL!

The weather has been so nice. Jeremy let Devin play in the water while I was home schooling. Cody went back to school yesterday (Sunday)! I'm not sure who was more excited him or me. I enjoyed our time together and he did a great job. Way to go, Codeman!

Devin loves the outdoors. If it was up to him he would play outside all day long. The last picture is Yoshi and Devin riding our neighbors bike.  Go, Devin, Go!!

Great Weekend with some of Jeremy's Friends from work

The Guys getting ready to enjoy some Senor Pacos!
L to R: Richard, Jeremy, Eric & Steve

After Senor Pacos

City Centre Mall

We enjoyed some of Jeremy coworkers (friends) for a couple of days. Eric was in from Texas so Jeremy invited them to come over to Bahrain to enjoy some shopping, site seeing, eating and swimming. The day they decided to go swimming Jeremy asked me to hold his wedding ring and when I went inside to retrieve some towels guess what...I lost it. I've searched and searched  for it but can't seem to put my finger on it. Eric, I hope you have a safe trip home and your wife enjoys her birthday gifts! Richard and Steve (stay in Saudi) so guys please come back whenever. Richard shares the same birthday as Cody (Oct 16)! Richard, hope you had an awesome birthday! Steve, thank you so much for looking for the ring. We really missed your company while we went shopping at Gold City.
