Arsenal Soccer School Bahrain

Cody is participating in the Arsenal Soccer School of Bahrain instructed by Ms Deena. It consist of twelve weeks of intense training. It's a structured course program which focuses on a different skill each week. I'm so proud to say that Cody was awarded the "MVP" for the first week. He totally deserved it he worked hard and was an awesome team player! "Way to Go, Codeman!"

Uncle Art & Sofia

We brought in the New Years with lots of food & laughter. Uncle Art & Aunt Brenda bought us a fire pit for Christmas and it came in so handy! It was so cold. We had the fire going and the kids enjoyed making smores and popping fireworks. And the Adults enjoyed eating 'em. When Cody was one Ma bought him the orange car. It still looks brand new. Sofia enjoyed driving it and she wasn't a wreckless driver. "Way to go, Sofia!" Devin was such a good sport he wasn't afraid of the fireworks at all. He was so intrigued by the fire, the sparks and the loud sounds. Happy New Year.... "may you live as long as you want and want as long as you live."

I was so relieved....Santa found us in Texas! It was so wonderful to be home for the holidays. We spent
Christmas Eve and Day in 3-Rivers.  Cody got his much anticipated I-Pod touch
and Santa brought Devin a little train that he could sit on and ride while learning
the alphabet.  Both boys got "Texas" stuff from NaNa who was trying to convert them over to
the wrong UT!

We were so thankful we got to be home for our annual neighborhood
Christmas progressive dinner party.  It is such a great time and wonderful food.
This year we all teamed up at 3 different houses.  Letti and I chipped in on main course and
made lamb chops and sides to go with it.  Wishing you all the best in 2010 and beyond.
You can't beat good friends, and espcially good friends who happen to be your neighbors

Ma's Candyland

Ma created a candyland (boardgame) scene with Christmas decorations. The layout was exactly like the boardgame. She's so creative. She layed different color of carpet pieces to indicate the different spots. The pictures were taken at night and they really do no justice. Her creativity is amazing. The kids enjoyed going thru the scene and viewing all of the little details. Kaylynn was there guide.

Charlie Brown - Ice Gaylord Opryland Hotel (Nashville, Tn)

We decided to spend the night in Nashville the night before our flight to Texas. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. It was decorated for Christmas and we had plenty of photo opts. Cody said that it's a 7 star hotel. We had such a great time. During the day we went to the Charlie Brown - Ice exhibit. The one word that I can say to describe it is AMAZING! 1.5 million pounds of ice is used to create this amazing exhibit. We had to wear the blue rain coats because the temperature inside is 9 degrees. It was cold. We were in Awww! Cody & Grammie enjoyed sliding down the slide. They had entertainment at the Hotel. For my birthday we had an awesome dinner. Thank You, Grammie & Papaw! It was so delicious!
