Cody's Birthday Party 2010

Cody wanted to have his "real" party playing a friendly match of soccer and basketball. So we reserved the pitch and the basketball court at the British School of Bahrain. Cody organized a few competitive individual games for both sports. He wasn't allowed to win any of the indivdual games but had fun participating. We gave the winners trophies and group medals. All of his friends received a medal that read "Thanks for putting your game face on to celebrate my birthday!"  Cody

We took the Ladies out for dinner to celebrate Myhes birthday. She turned 31 years old and is the oldest of the three. Devin, of course, was the center of attention and loved every bit of it. Yoshi, is 4 months pregnant and is due in March. Suba will take over as our helper. She lives in our maid quarters now. They are all such a blessing and love Devin and Cody very much! Happy Happy Birthday, Myhes!

The poor Girls are out numbered :(

Cody enjoyed celebrating his birthday with his friends at school. They enjoyed an edible arrangement along with mini cuppies. It's amazing his class consist of 12 boys and 4 girls. For the most part, all of the boys get along very well. Ms Kneyse (5th grade teacher) is from the states. Cody said he likes her better than his 4th grade teacher. (Not sure if it's because of her looks or her teaching abilities).

Happy Happy Birthday, Codeman!!!

Eleven years today we were anticipating the arrival of our son, Cody Dwayne Lancaster! He was born in St Paul, Mn. I remember Dr Campbell saying "If you give birth by 7 I'll buy you some White Castle burgers!" Needless to say, I'm not a fan of White Castle :( For those that know me I'm very competitive so I meet the challenge. I gave birth to a healthy 7 lbs 4 oz baby boy at 6:29 p.m. And our life has never been the same! However, I did decline the offer.

We've been celebrating all day. It started off with some Cinnamon Buns......for breakfast YUMMO! Cody wanted to eat Asian food at his favorite restaurant Frangipani. So we enjoyed a late lunch. He had his favorite Chef cook him steak and chicken. Than we enjoyed ice cream cake from Cold Stone. Now he's enjoying his new game that he got for his birthday Fifa South Africa (play station)! He'll celebrate with his friends next Friday. We've reserved the pitch and basketball courts at the British School of Bahrain.

Happy Happy Birthday, Cody! We love you so very much! You're such a blessing!
