Safe Trip Home

Letti and boys safely made the 20+ hour trip home and are back in Kingwood. Ma (Mom) and neighborhood friends were there anxiously waiting for them. Letti said Devin did well overall for the long haul. Their British Airways flight had to make an unexpected stop in Newfoundland due to gentleman on plane having heart problems so that delayed them 4 hours. I will let Letti post and fill in travel details. J (Dad)

What is Devin up to now.....ugggh!

Leave a mark

Before we head to Texas Devin thought he would leave his mark. He decided to practice writing his name on our living room wall. He couldn't blame it on Brother because he is at school. Cody has one more day left of school than we are Texas bound. Please keep us in your prayers for a safe trip home and to good health.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!

Surprise, a round of golf!

Where is Devin? Taking a 2 hr nap.....

Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful Dad's in the world. Hope you have a very relaxing and fun filled day. No matter where we are in the world we are always thinking of you. We love you and can't wait to see you soon!

We celebrated Father's Day yesterday. The Boys bought Jeremy a round of golf at Riffa Views Royal Golf Club. I'm not a golfer but from what our friends say it is a very difficult course. Cody took golf lessons on this course the first six weeks of school. Across from the course is the palace where Michael Jackson lived for a year or so. Devin decided to take a 2 hour nap during this time. He was exhausted from all of the swimming he did the night before.

Happy Father's Day! Love you!

School Daze

Cody is down to his last few days of school and he is getting anxious to get out of course. Riffa Views has been a great school for him and it seems like he was just putting on his new uniform for his first day. He got an e-mail today that this photo above with him and a couple of his classmates would be on the cover of the Parent Handbook next semester at school. Maybe he is showing the kids where Texas or Tennessee is on the globe. Speaking of Texas and Tennessee, I got my feelings hurt at work today in Saudi. A couple of guys that work for me asked where Tennessee was in relation to Texas and I showed them. I then mentioned to them (as I have reminded others before) that Texas would not have been a state if not for Davey Crockett and the Tennesseans. I asked them if they had ever heard of the Alamo, John Wayne? They followed up by saying "Who was John Wayne"? My heart sank.

The Elephant's Child

Cody participated in his schools play. It consisted of third thru fifth grade students. He was part of the chorus and did a great job. He sure didn't get his vocals from his Mama!

Sports Weekend: KOBE.....CODY

Great start to a Sports weekend for the Lancaster boys. Cody and his indoor Soccer team was playing for sole possession of 1st place and beat the other undefeated team in the league 4-2 Friday. Cody had 1 goal and 2 assists. Team is now 5-0-1. All know about our LA Lakers which are 1 step closer to another title. Cody and I watch the play by play on the web in the early hours of the morning. Now that is die-hard fans! Letti and Devin are both sleeping I guess dreaming about the Rockets?

Recording Studio

Cody has been taking guitar lessons after school. We were so proud to receive an invitation from Mr Adams to attend a recording session. He was one of the few to get invited. Way to go Cody! Mr Adams is from the UK. He and his family have lived in Bahrain for three years. I hope that Cody continues to enjoy strumming the guitar just like his Papaw and Pa do. I can't wait to hear the completed version of the CD.

The Wolves

The Wolves had two games this week and won both! Last week they selected their team name "The Wolves". It's not the Cannonballs but I guess it will do. This season's team is very good and aggressive. At times a little too aggressive. The third picture is a picture of Fizell (Joker) #999 the teams goalie. He is such a good goalie! However, Coach (J) gave him a break and allowed him to play forward. Bless his heart he can't score to save his life. He's a very aggressive player with a short fuse. After a couple of warnings of being too aggressive he was thrown out of the game. We managed to win the game anyway 4 vs 5. The final score 6-3. I enjoy watching the team play the players become so creative in their passing and scoring. And for those that know me I'm not as vocal as I use to be.......
