Where did the month of January go! Since we've been back from the states it's been non-stop. It's a good thing. Cody's been very busy with Baseball, Jubail Soccer and Cross Country. We're traveling to Khobar 5x's a week for baseball. He's part of the soccer and cross country team for his school.
They had their first soccer tournament a few weeks ago. For the most part, the team did good. It's a very young team compared to the other schools. They finished the tournament 2-1. Cody had a total of 3 goals!
Looking forward to the next tournament. The team has been practicing really hard.
We travelled to Aramco Abqaiq for the first cross country meet. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive of pure desert. I never thought that Cody would even want to participate in cross county but he is. He did such a great job! He finished 11 out of 41 participants. I was tired for him and didn't even run the course.
He's really going to be busy with baseball the next six months. He has a baseball tournament next week in Qatar. The first week of March we'll travel to Kuwait for another tournament. We were really disappointed that the South Africa tournament got cancelled. That was going to take place during his spring break. We'll travel to Dubai in May. Than in June they'll participate in the Poland tournament. Please keep him in your prayers so that he may stay healthy and motivated. 'Cause we're enjoying the ride, Codeman!
