Not to shabby....

The Jubail ISG table tennis team traveled to Khobar for their first tournament. It was an intense tournament. To be exact, the participants played for 6 hours with a hour lunch break. There were teams for all over the middle east. The competition level went from 6 graders to 12 graders. Needless to say, Cody was one of the youngest if not the youngest. However, he held his own. If you look at the second and third picture that is the person (opponent) who won the tournament. He was really good. Cody's team came home with a second place banner. Way to go, Jaguars!!

The first theme for show and tell for the pre-reception class is "All About Me". Through out the month the discussions focused on the students: Names, Birthdays, Favorite toys and colors, features (how they are similar and different), body parts and Family. The first week Devin had to bring a baby picture to school and tell his friends his name. The second week the students played "dress up" and Devin wore his Arsenal Uniform. The following week he had to bring his favorite toy: transformer (picture above). Than he brought his favorite book: Swing! His Dad bought him the book when he finished his first month of daycare!! On Wednesday, it's "meet my family" we can join the class for an hour. For the most part, it's all about Devin most of the time!! Love you, Kid.



Shout Out to Codeman.....

Cody's a very busy boy. He made the "select" team for baseball. We travel 3 x's a week to Khobar which is an hour and a half away for baseball. We just found out that he made the tennis table team for his school. How exciting is that. Out of 25 students only 10 made the team. And Cody was one of the 10. Yea!!! We're so proud. Way to go, Cody!!
