Pre-Reception Sports Day 2012

What a way to start Spring Break!! Devin's class enjoyed a "Sports Day" filled with fun and excitement. They played games, ate popcorn and enjoyed ice-cream. When I brag about my boys it's normally to them directly. However, Devin deserves a shout out about his listening skills. He did such a great job listening to his teachers instructions. For the majority of the games, they were allowed to use only one hand and he did! Great job, Devin!!

Please keep us in your prayers as we travel to Spain for some much needed R&R!
I'm really looking forward to our family time and am very thankful!!
Until next time, Adios!!

Kuwait Liberation Day Baseball Tournament

3-0, Babe!!
Does this make Saudi Majors the best team in the Middle East? I would say, Yes!! However, all leagues have been playing with two teams (A and B). The selection of the travel team will take place in May. This team will represent Saudi in the Poland Tournament . The Winner of the Poland Tournament will advance to the World Series in Williamsport, Pennylvania. The team that wins will represent Middle East/Africa. It's been a great journey thus far. Cody's making progress in his batting and it's been great watching him excel as a pitcher.

The team will continue to practice five times a week but has added personal training before and after team practice. Jeremy attended the Team's Journey to the Poland Tournament/World Series meeting and was very impressed! Saudi has made it to the World Series 12 years in a row. Last year they lost to Uganda. However, they couldn't get visas because they didn't have proof of age. So Saudi advanced to the Little League World Series by default. Uganda is back this year ready to represent. The Poland Tournament will have the best teams from Africa and the Middle East. It will be a great experience for the Codeman. As for me, I'm not sure if I can handle it....I'm only his #1 Fan!! I'm not sure where Cody get his composure. He does such a great job of keeping it under control. Our Coaching staff is one of the best and am so glad Cody is part of the team.

Kuwait has hosted the Liberation Day Tournament for the past four years. They just completed a field renovation which included the installation of lights and are in the final stages of installing the scoreboards. They are proud to say that they have one of the best fields in the Middle East.
