Travel Team - Baseball Dubai Scrimmages

Khalifia Bridge Tower evening view

Nighthawks flew over to Dubai for 4 friendly games as a warm-up
to upcoming Middle East Regional.  It was a great weekend and some good
baseball.  The boys won all 4 games, with a couple of tight match-ups
over the weekend.  Cody was on the mound pitching first game and went 4 innings
not allowing a run.  Brandon came in and relieved concluding the shut-out.

Jubail 2011-2012 Sports Banquet

We attended the 2011-2012 Jubail Sports Banquet a few weeks ago. It was held at Intercontinental Hotel. We enjoyed dinner followed by an award ceremony. Cody was a major factor in all the sports he participated in. We're proud to announce that he was awarded the "MVP" player in soccer. Since the school is so small they have to combine 6 graders thru 9 graders to come up with a team. Next year we will allow him to play cricket. Since he made the travel team for baseball he wasn't allowed to try out for the team this year. In my opinion, there is a major difference in how you hit a baseball compared to a cricket ball. Way to go, Codeman!! So very proud of you!!
