Spring Break Barcelona, Spain Day 2 - 2012

We couldn't visit Barcelona without going to a soccer match. Jeremy surprised Cody with tickets to Barcelona vs Athletic Club! FC Barcelona is a sports club best known worldwide for its football. It's the second richest clubs in the world. The stadium is the largest in Europe and has a capacity of 100,000. There were over 98,000 people at the game this night. They did a tribute to Messi for scoring the most goals in Barcelona's history. Messi has been voted one of the best players in the world. It was such an honor to see him play in person. The match didn't start until 10 p.m. We were all concerned that we wouldn't be able to stay up that late. The match was over around midnight and with a crowd that large it took us some time to get back to our Hotel. We took the subway and the lines went on and on. It was a great experience all in all. The final score 2-0 Barcelona!!
