We were blessed with great food, great weather, great company and great memories during our stay in Barcelona! We stayed at Ohla Hotel which was very central to the places we wanted to visit.
The first picture is part of Cody's language arts project. He's producing a movie about "Peace". It just took him 15 minutes to realize that he wanted more of those fish. It was very peaceful and relaxing.....so much that I had to join in on the fun.....a few days later.
Barcelona beach was listed number one in a list of the top ten beach cities in the world. The temperature of the water is still cold. There were a few brave swimmers with bodysuits. Devin decided he wanted a tan as we watched a few volleyball games. The weather was perfect for a nice, relaxing day at the beach.
As we walked, the alleys, streets, of Barcelona we stopped and watched several entertainers along the way. Some good and others that weren't so good....but were good sports!! Cody and Devin spotted a carnival and had to do some entertaining of their own. Cody drew a crowd with the flips he was doing on the trampoline. However, he forgot to drop the hat. Both boys couldn't wait to do their thing so they each found a palm tree to water????
Sagrada Familia church, Gaudi's masterpiece has been under construction since 1882. The completion date is planned for 2026. We'll have to make a return trip just for that!!
BTW, we decided to put earnest money down on our soon to be yacht....whose in???
