Harlem Globetrotters - Bahrain

We went to the US base to see the Globetrotters perform. What talent & a great show! Afterwards, they had an autograph & photo session. They were all good sports. At the base they have Taco Bell so Cody enjoyed some mexi melts as well. They only take US dollars at the base so we had to pulse some cash out. It's great to see that our Men & Women stationed here are taken care of. Thank God!!!

We can't wait to see all of our Family & Friends in a couple of Days!! Please keep us in your prayers for safe travels and good health!

Golf

For Father's Day we bought Jeremy a round of Golf on Riffa's Golf Course. After a few months they finally had the opportunity to get some golf in. From what they said it was a very hard course. This is the same course Cody took his lessons.

Rugby Club

We enjoyed a fun day at the Rugby Club. Cody & Qoasi enjoyed doing an obstacle course, penalty shoot out, sack race & egg toss. They ended up winning the egg toss.  I have to say Jeremy & I made it to the finals and lost to them. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful.

Our First Thanksgiving Away From Family

Turkey going down

Safety first !

Cody watching the turkey and waiting

Friends from Chevron

Devin always getting held, it is a wonder he can even walk!

Being in the Middle East did not stop us from our annual deep fried turkey (the only way to cook a turkey).   We had some friends over from work and had every traditional dish you can imagine for Thanksgiving.  My mom (Ma) even gave us my great grandmother's pecan pie recipe and it was a big hit.  We had a bit of everything.  The weather was beautiful and an enjoyable day all of  us.

Happy Thanksgiving from us to you

We've been busy getting ready for our Thanksgiving Feast! Jeremy has invited some of his coworkers and spouses. We will host 10 guest. I believe I have found all of my ingredients needed however it was a challenge. Jeremy is going to fry a turkey and I'm going to try to duplicate my Grandmother's dressing! We have so much to be Thankful for: our Family, Friends, good health, traditions..... for the US Military who maintain this awesome possibility but more so our Savior Jesus Christ who lives and reigns!! Happy Thanksgiving and May God Continue to Bless You!

Not a Good Day

What a Day! This evening while we were going to drop off Yoshi I of course put the Tahoe in reverse to pull out of the garage and didn't realize that her door was still open.......and needless to say the door hit the side of our garage. Now the door does not shut properly. Looks like I will be spending my day at the dealership tomorrow:( I always thought you get in the vehicle and close the door. It's not that difficult. I'm just blowing steam and will get over it. Sorry! Or I always thought that the driver (me) should always look to see if everyone is in and tightly fastened. I can't say that pictures will follow because I'm so mad to even take them.

Enjoying his treats

Trick or Treat give me something good to eat....

For Halloween we went to the Litchfields. Their compound goes all out for Halloween. There was pizza for the kids, games, treats and more treats. Devin wore Cody's Blue Clues costume. Cody dressed as a professional soccer(futbol) player. It's hard to get pictures of Cody now that he is ten years old :(  The boys and I made the luminares for Halloween. It was fun!
