Sweet!

We decided to go to Lost Paradise before the weather gets extremely hot! Cody invited two of his friends Yousef and Qosai. They had a blast! In order to get into the water park you must have a wrist band. I haven't been to a water park in a while (in the states)but you can add extra dinars to the wrist band in order to purchase snacks in the park. This makes it very convenient for parents. Devin had a good time. He stayed on schedule by taking his a.m. and p.m. naps. As the day went on he got more and more confident. We went to our regular snack bar and Percival was working again. He's such a nice guy. He wanted Cody & I to wear his hat in the photos. He has been in Bahrain for only 2 months.

There is less than a month for our trip back home. We are so excited and can't wait to see all of you!

Bahraini Indoor Soccer League Kick-Off

Win! Cody +his 4 Bahraini teamates had their first indoor soccer game yesterday as part of a short season before the summer and won 4-1. It was a good game. Cody had 2 goals and played really well. They will play an 8 week season with 2 games each week prior to summer break.

This past week at Cody's school they had Fun day where they set up all kinds of relay and game events where the kids (and parents) could have competitive fun. It was a blast. The day was concluded with a picnic lunch with all of the kids and parents.

Windy Day

Winds and dust storms are common here. We had winds gusting this week where one of our small trees in our front yard split in half. The yard guys were right on top of the clean-up right after it fell.
